We strongly encourage you NOT to provide nonpublic personal information (NPI) via our Contact us web page, https://www.pc-ins.com/contact-us.html  If you desire to do business with our office, please use the Contact us web page, https://www.pc-ins.com/contact-us.html only to share your name, email and a brief message noting your reason and/or request in contacting our office.  Do not provide personally identifiable information including but not limited to your social security number, driver’s license, birthdate, and/or additional policy details or any other nonpublic personal information (NPI) besides your name, email and the reason you are contacting us.  Once the request is received, someone in our office will respond and assist you in providing any additional information necessary to receive a quote or purchase a policy for insurance.

We maintain that as an independent insurance agency, both prospects and customers who share their nonpublic personal information (NPI) with us via our Contact us web page, https://www.pc-ins.com/contact-us.html, or through our office in general, agree that we may market to any number of insurance carriers both in hard copy paper format and via electronic means.  Once that information is shared with a third party, the privacy policy of the insurance company or third party vendor who collects, accesses, shares and/or stores information will also have a privacy policy to cover the handling of consumer/business NPI.

WE VALUE our relationship with you and choose not to sell, disseminate, disclose, trade, transmit, transfer, share, lease or rent any nonpublic personal information (NPI) to any third party not authorized to receive your information provided via our website except as we have disclosed to you in this Privacy Policy. 

Information Collection

We will ask you to provide your personal information to us to receive a quote, apply for insurance coverage or when you purchase an insurance policy from us after a request comes via our website contact us page. We may at some point ask you to provide NPI to us via our Contact us web page, https://www.pc-ins.com/contact-us.html.  Our normal business procedures dictate we request consumers not to provide NPI via our website.  However, if you do, we will protect that information to the best of our ability while complying with the regulatory environment required for protecting NPI in our industry.  When you request a quote or enroll for an insurance policy at P&C Insurance Specialists, LLC, we will ask you to provide NPI relevant to writing an insurance policy including but not limited to, your name, home address, mailing address, telephone number and e-mail address and any other elements deemed necessary to provide an accurate reflection of a complete application for insurance.

This information will then be provided to an insurance company to obtain a quote and/or when you purchase an insurance policy so they can establish you as a policyholder. We will maintain a record of your information at our office so we can provide you with policyholder services. The employees of our office are each required to sign and acknowledge a Confidentiality and Nondisclosure Agreement. Each employee has been instructed on maintaining the privacy of each customer and the importance of protecting the customer's NPI.

When you purchase an insurance policy from our office, you may pay the premiums with your credit card or personal check. If you use your credit card to pay the premium, your credit card information may be maintained and protected in a record keeping system after your purchase has been authorized.  We may with your permission keep a record of your credit card information on file in our office or in an insurance company record keeping system. If you pay the premium using your personal check and/or an electronic bank transaction, we may keep a copy of your check and/or checking information in your file.

Cookies

A cookie is a piece of data that is stored on a visitor's hard drive while they are visiting our Web site. We may utilize a short-lived form of cookie when you visit our web site. At P&C Insurance Specialists, LLC, a cookie is only used to identify one unique visitor from another visitor during a particular session. A session is the period of active site-use while that unique visitor is linked to our server.   We reserve the right in the future to use cookie information should we begin to implement tools that create an online quoting process for you that will carry information forward.

Our Privacy Policy only applies to information we collect from you while you are at and while you are actively in a session with P&C Insurance Specialists, LLC. We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy without providing you with advance notice of our intent to make the changes.  The most current privacy policy will have a date attached for referencing changes.
